Drip Irrigation Compression Fittings
Compression Fittings do not require any glue or clamps. Drip Irrigation Compression Fittings are used on the ½” main drip irrigation line for turning corners, adjoining different lengths of tubing, and making a variety of different drip line configurations. An easy way to install these drip compression fittings is to use them with the ½” drip tubing that has been warmed by the sun. This makes the tubing more pliable. Push the Compression Fitting onto the ½” tubing by using a back-and-forth motion. The drip tubing should be inserted into the drip compression fitting about one half inch. These types of compression fittings can hold up to 60 pounds of water pressure.
